TDL Events

Texas Digital Library (TDL) hosts a variety of online and in-person events – from monthly webinars to our annual conference (TCDL) – designed to empower our community and build sustainable models for digital libraries. Open to current, new, and potential members of the TDL community.

Presentation & Hosting Opportunities

  • Host an Event: Use the Virtual Event Request Form. Check the calendar for conflicts before submitting.

    • Note on Scheduling: Event dates cannot be held or guaranteed until you submit the Virtual Event Request Form with finalized details. If a scheduling conflict arises with another fully finalized event request before your form is submitted, you may be asked to select an alternative date.

  • Speak at the TDL Forum: Submit your 5–10 minute update via the Content Idea Submission Form.

    • Deadlines: Slides are due the Friday before the Forum.

    • Tech Check: Join Zoom at 10:15 am CST on the event day.

Guidelines & Conduct

  • Recording Policy: Recording is not standard. If recorded, leaders must announce it at the start. Attendees may opt out via camera/chat. YouTube/DSpace recording archival requires a justification.

  • Repository Submissions: Except for TCDL, all groups must submit a TDL Repository Request Form for each item.

    • Videos: TDL uploads videos to YouTube and links them to the repository. Video submissions must include an additional attachment (e.g., slides/logo) and proof of publication permission for all participants.

    • Accessibility: All files must meet TDL Repository Accessibility Requirements; non-compliant items will be denied.

    • Process: TDL will confirm receipt via email and reserves the right to edit or deny requests.

Community Agreement

All participants must adhere to the TDL Community Agreement. For questions, please contact info@tdl.org.
