DSpace Accessibility Statement
Texas Digital Library’s Digital Repository service includes hosting of the DSpace repository application. DSpace is an international, open-source digital repository software that “aspires to be as inclusive as possible for all users, including people with disabilities.” Its community of users and developers, which includes TDL, “are dedicated to creating an accessible and interoperable user interface” guided by Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Texas Digital Library is a DSpace Accessibility Champion, having contributed multiple times to the DSpace Program to fund accessibility audits and remediation of the open source code.
