2011 Annual Meeting, August
On October 26, 2011, the Vireo Users Group met in Austin, Texas at the PCL on the University of Texas at Austin Campus. The meeting was led by Laura Hammons and Stephanie Larrison. Approximately 15 individuals, representing five institutions and Texas Digital Library staff, was in attendance.

Summary:
The purpose of this inaugural meeting was
to share updates from the VUG membership, including the introduction of new members, changes in Vireo use for existing members, and to remind institutions to annually update institutional profiles
to provide updates from the Vireo Users Group steering committee, including leadership changes and highlights from our previous year’s activities
to hear from TDL regarding organizational changes and their development plans for the coming year
to discuss the process for requesting, prioritizing, and presenting feature requests in the coming year
to solicit ideas for how the VUG can better serve members in the coming year
