• Collects/authenticates an author’s ORCID iD from ORCID using either the public or member ORCID API.

• Displays an author’s ORCID iD ont he journal article page, which links to the author’s ORCID record

• Enables editors to to trigger a message to an author asking them to authenticate their ORCID iD
