Survey & Dashboard

The GISIG Survey & Outreach Subcommittee actively maintains a dashboard of GIS programs and activities across academic libraries in 4-year higher education institutions in Texas.

The GIS Across Texas Libraries Dashboard was initially created in 2021 based on data received from a survey distributed to academic librarians across the state. The survey collected information about GIS services, geospatial data, academic programs, and other GIS and data-related resources across Texas. An updated survey was distributed in 2022.
