ABOUT
The TDL Blog is used to share news and updates about Texas Digital Library and to highlight items of interest to TDL members and peers. Topics relevant to the creation, promotion, and preservation of research, scholarship, and cultural heritage digital materials are welcome. The TDL Blog must align with TDL’s mission, vision, and strategic directions.

GUIDELINES
TDL has suggested guidelines for TDL Blog contributors to be aware of before submitting their content for publishing.
Policies and Procedures
The TDL Blog is administered by TDL staff. Posts are published on TDL’s website. Wordpress is our content management system.
TDL reserves the right to make changes to your content for clarity and length. We also reserve the right to repurpose your content for other promotional uses.
Who can contribute to the TDL Blog?
TDL staff
TDL partners, service providers, and annual TCDL sponsors
In addition to the above-mentioned TDL contributors, the blog may have occasional guest contributors for specific conferences, events, or topics. Guest contributors may be invited to submit content or request an opportunity to submit a blog post.
Logistics
A TDL staff member will act as a liaison / point of contact for your blog post.
TDL will:
Publish on the TDL Blog and send the link to the author.
Promote on social media.
Optional: Depending on our content calendar and needs, we may not be able to publish your blog post in our e-newsletter and share in Member Forum.
Content Submission
Announcements / Stories
Length can vary; 300-500 words is a good rule of thumb.
You are encouraged to include links in your post.
Please check spelling and grammar before submitting.
Images
Send as separate files, not embedded in the document.
Please send hi-res / largest file size possible (.png or .jpg recommended).
Include captions and alternative text when possible.
Please complete our TDL Blog Content Submission form when you are ready to get started.
Content must adhere to the TDL Community Agreement. Email info@tdl.org if you have any questions.
TCDL sponsors will receive a different content submission form in their sponsorship confirmation email pending sponsorship level.
