Affiliated Community Groups

The following groups operate independently from Texas Digital Library, but TDL has provided various kinds of coordination or promotional support for them.

Texas Archivematica Users Group

The Texas Archivematica Users Group exists as a way for Archivematica users in Texas to share experiences, workflows, user cases, and more.

Who Should Join:

  • The group is open to individuals and organizations in Texas who are actively using, exploring, or testing Archivematica. (Membership in the Texas Digital Library is not required to join.)

  • It is also open to those within other user communities that are interested in furthering or promoting the work of the Texas Archivematica Users Group.

  • The group welcomes members from a variety of backgrounds and job roles -- librarians, archivists, IT staff, etc.

South Central States Fedora Users Group

This users group is open to anyone in the southern, central United States with an interest in Fedora and its use with the Hydra, Islandora or other frameworks and extensions.

The goal of the South Central States Fedora Users Group (SCSFUG) is to boost, support, and educate the local Fedora user base, promote adoption of Fedora, and work with an eye towards reducing duplication of effort while maximizing efficiencies as to scale up the use of Fedora use in the region.
