Monthly Member Forums
ABOUT
WHAT | Texas Digital Library invites members to share announcements and attend the TDL Member Forum, a monthly meeting in which members can hear a brief presentation about the activities of the consortium and our community, and participate in a question-and-answer period.
WHEN | TDL Forums occur the third Wednesday of every month from 10:30am to 11:00am CST.
WHERE | https://meeting.austin.utexas.edu/forum/ TDL uses Adobe Connect as our platform for monthly forums.

LOGISTICS
Most announcements are one slide and last approximately 2-3 minutes.
Attendance of our sound check is required (at least 15 minutes prior to the forum start; we can arrange for an earlier sound check if need be).
Ethernet connection is best; sometimes Adobe Connect is glitchy on a wireless connection.
Must have access to a microphone. Camera is not needed for Adobe Connect.
TDL will:
TDL staff member will act as a liaison / point of contact for your webinar / series.
This staff member will report out to TDL staff and leadership about your announcement and field requests between you and our staff.
Schedule the forum and sound check (i.e. send calendar invitation to presenters and other stakeholders).
Develop slides and script for the forum.
Slides will be sent to the presenter for review/edits no later than EoD on the Monday prior to the Forum.
Finalize forum slides and adjust formatting as needed.
Produce the forum using Adobe Connect.
Coordinate as many dress rehearsals as needed.
Communicate with registrants (reminders, follow up links, etc.).
Promote the forum.
Record and caption the forum.
Publish forum slides in our DSpace repository.
Publish the forum on YouTube and add to Forums Playlist.
Update forum page on TDL web site with links to recording and slides.
Optional: A TDL staff member may be able to MC if need be / applicable and assist with facilitation of Q&A.
Collaborator(s) will:
Submit content via the call for content form.
Coordinate with TDL staff liaison to develop content and schedule presenters (if not you).
Present or designate a presenter for the forum.
Attend sound check at least 15 minutes prior to the forum.
Return slides to TDL staff liaison no later than 4pm on the Tuesday prior to the forum if edits are needed.

CONTENT
TDL will develop slides and script for the forum unless the presenter wants to or is asked to develop content.
Slides will be sent to the presenter for review/edits no later than EoD on the Monday prior to the Forum.
Slides will be returned to TDL liaison no later than 4pm on the Tuesday prior to the forum.
Collaborator will send relevant links, images, text, etc. to TDL no later than the Friday before the forum.
