Organization Settings

There are 3 parts in the Organization Settings section. 

1- Hierarchical Organization Management:  If enabled, this setting allows multiple workflows with properties of parent organizations inherited by child organizations.  If disabled, multiple workflows are allowed but more limited. 

2- New Submission Organization Selector Header: The text entered here will be visible to students upon initial submission and should provide some hints on workflow selection.  For example, if workflows will vary by College, users might choose "Select your college from the options below".  Changes are saved automatically. 

3- Add Organization Category: These are labels to organize workflows. The default values are College, Degree, Department, Major, Program, Administrative Group, and System.  You can change the names or delete any of the defaults except for System.  The labels here will display in the Category drop down menu in the Organization tab of Settings.  For tips on selecting categories, please see instructions for the ORGANIZATION TAB.
